Pascoe Vale Rotary is very proud to share the news that our member, Sara Murdock, has been awarded the Victorian Pharmacist of the Year award.
The award, presented by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia Victoria President Dr Amy Page FPS, recognises pharmacists with an outstanding commitment to excellence in pharmacy practice, who demonstrate exceptional leadership, and who champion patient care.
At Pharmacy 777 Pascoe Vale, Sara has been a trusted presence in the area. Known for her dedication to patient care, she has organised education and wellness programs that support preventative health, mental wellbeing, and injury recovery. Sara also established the first local community vaccination clinic at a neighbourhood house as well as leading school-based immunisation programs.
From her commitment to collaborative care, to mentoring and supporting pharmacy students, Sara works tirelessly to improve the health literacy and quality of life for her community.
This award is not just a recognition of professional excellence but also of a deep and enduring commitment to making the community a healthier and happier place for everyone. Sara has certainly earned this accolade, and the community is fortunate to have such a compassionate and dedicated pharmacist leading the charge toward better health.
Congratulations Sara!
